Prem Mandir Vrindavan

Prem Mandir is one of the most famous Hindu temples located in Vrindavan, Mathura, India. it is also famous as the temple of God’s love. This temple is maintained by the charitable trust Jagadguru Kripalu Parisha. The temple covered an area of 54 acres. Many people visit this temple as it is dedicated to Sita Ram and Radhe Krishna. The construction of the temple was started on 14 January 2001 by the Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj. It was completed on 17 February 2012. This temple took around 11 years and 1000 artists to complete this temple. It was opened on 17th February for the public. The construction cost of this temple is $23 million.

There is also a 73 thousand square feet Satsang hall is located near this temple. It can hold 25 thousand people at a time. The architecture of Prem Mandir looks amazing as it is built by using a style of Rajasthani Somnath Gujarat. The temple is constructed by using the highest quality of white Italian marble. The temple is 125 feet in height, 115 feet in width and 122 feet in length. The walls of the temple are 3.25 ft in thickness. The temple has beautiful doors and windows with the colorful floor made up of precious stones.

There are beautiful statues of Lord Radha Krishna in various beautiful poses on the pillars. After every 5 minutes, the lightning of the temple changes its color which makes it look beautiful. The temple shows different past time of Lord Radha Krishna with its 48 internal panels and 84 exterior panels. There are also many other beautiful pictures of Lord Krishna located inside the temple. The first floor of the temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and the second floor is dedicated to Lord Sita Rama.

At the time of art, the temple is filled by thousands of visitors. There is also a musical and colorful light fountain in the temple. This fountain increases the beauty of this temple. The temple also has a cafeteria that only serves Vegetarian food. The temple celebrates many festivals among which Janmashtami and Radhastami are the major festivals. These festivals are celebrated with great joy. The temple opens from 5:30 am to 8:30 pm on all days of the week. It is one of the best temples to visit in Vrindavan.
