Khusro Bagh is a bagh that was built by Mughals in the Allahabad. It is the best example of the beautiful architecture of Mughals. The bagh was built by the king Jahangir. He dedicated this bagh to his son Khusro. The brother of Khusro, Shah Jahan murdered his brother. The bagh has the Khusro’s tomb and two other tombs. These tombs are the tomb of Nithar and Begum. In 1622, the tomb of khusro was built and the other tombs were built in 1624.
There is a large cenotaph on the tomb of Shah Begum, the mother of Khusro. It is also designed and printed beautifully by the Mir Abdullah Mushkin Qalam. He was the best calligrapher of Jahangir. It is also said that there was some trouble between the Khusro and Jahangir due to which Shah Begum devoted to suicide. Another mausoleum was built on a high platform is of Nithar. She was the sister of Khusro.
The curve sections of this mausoleum were designed beautifully. The roof of the mausoleum was designed with beautiful and complex paintings. It is designed with flowers, vessels, and many other objects. The concentric circles and stars increase the beauty of this mausoleum. It is one of the most beautiful mausoleums. The mausoleum of Nithar is vacant. The tomb is not present in it. The garden has many trees of Guavas and mangoes. The bagh is also popular for the variety of trees.
The best time to visit the garden is in morning. There are few people at this time. The visitors can enjoy the beauty of monuments, green gardens, and trees of mango and guava. The visitors can take photographs. The opening time of the garden is from 6 AM to 7 PM. There is no entry fee for the visitors to the park.
