Kedarnath Temple

Kedarnath is a sacred pilgrimage of the Hindus and the Kedarnath Temple is one of the Char Dhams. It is also one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Located in the Rudra Himalaya range, the ancient temple is open only for six months. Usually, it is opened at the end of April till November. The origin of this temple was found by the Pandavas and then was revived by Adi Shankaracharya.

It is not only the temple that lets you experience tranquility in Kedarnath but the verdant landscapes and the snow-covered Himalayas also contribute towards it. Devotees experience a special kind of peace after visiting this temple and their faith in the almighty is rekindled again during this visit.
