Baba Baidyanath Temple

Baidyanarth Jyotirlingas temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas situated in Deogarh, Jharkhand. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is also famous as Baba Dham, Vaidyanath Temple, and Baidynath Dham. There are 21 other temples in the complex. The 72 feet tall shrine of Lord Shiva is in the shape of a lotus.

Other shrines in the complex are of Maa Kali, Maa Parvati, Kal Bhairav, Jagat Janani, and Lakhsminayarayan. It is believed that the temple was built by Vishwakarma (the architects of gods) itself. Earlier Deogarh was a part of Bihar, but after the partition of the state, it was awarded into the land of Jharkhand.

Long queues are formed for the Darshan of the JyotirLingam, and Shiv believers from all over the world come here to worship the shrine.
