It is a public park which is located in the Lucknow city. The park is dedicated to the peoples, who spend their life for the justice and humanity of the country. It is a very big park. The park covers an area of 107 acres. It is also famous as the Ambedkar Park, Ambedkar Stupa and also as Mayawati Park. The park was built by the Mayawati. The park got completed in an amount of 700 crores. The park is constructed with the help of red sandstones of Rajasthan.
The gateway of the park is lies near the river Gomti. The entrance of the park is decorated with the 62 elephants on its both sides. There is a stupa of 112 feet height in the center of the Park. This stupa is covered by many formations from all around including pillars, the structure of elephants and many other things. The park has a beautiful structure from the inside. It looks more beautiful at night as the place is lightening by colorful lights from all around. The park has many statues inside it. The lush green gardens inside the park also increase the beauty of the park. It is just opposite to the memorial of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. On the top of the museum, it has two domes.
The park is located in the Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The nearest airport and railway station is in Lucknow. The visitors can book taxi or cab to reach this place. It remains open for the whole year. Summers are very harsh and there is a heavy rainfall during the rainy season to visit. So, the best time to visit is during winters. The entry fee in the park is Rs 10. The opening time of the park is from 11 AM to PM.
