Kasauli, a calm place that is still far away from the maddening development, is a famous hill station in Himachal Pradesh, located on the way when you travel from Chandigarh to Shimla. It was established as a cantonment town by the Britishers when they were fighting against Sikhs in 1842 but later it was turned into a hill station and in today’s time, it is on the top of the visitors’ list who plan a tour to Himachal Place.

Famed for the glorious Victorian mansions and the picturesque surroundings, Kasauli offers you eye-catching views of the lush greenery, snow-covered mountains, pine forests and much more. All these natural attractions enhance the unspoiled exquisiteness of this well-known place. The place is just perfect to have a break from the monotonous busy schedules.

Monkey Point is one of the main attractions in Kasauli. It is the highest point from where you can see the entire Chandigarh and Kalka. The view is best at night. Also, you can have the breathtaking view of the rising sun from the Sunrise Point, located at the Lower Mall. Other main attractions of Kasauli include The Mall, Baptist Church, Christ Church, Baba Balak Nath Temple, Saai Baba Mandir and Kufri.

The best time to visit Kasauli is April to November.
